Fall 2026 Musical Productions at Community Through Song and Stage
Students receive high-quality performing arts training in a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages both artistic excellence and personal growth. Our programs are intentionally designed with small class and cast sizes, ensuring that every student receives individualized attention and meaningful performance opportunities. Led by experienced educators and industry professionals, students build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills that extends far beyond the stage. Whether a child is new to the performing arts or an experienced performer, CTSS provides a welcoming community where every student is challenged, supported, and celebrated.
All performances, with the tentative exception of Little Shop of Horrors, will take place in the CTSS Black Box Theater in Paoli.
Payment Plans are available for All Programs when registering.
CTSS offers a comprehensive Performing Arts Supplement Program designed specifically for cyber school and homeschool students who are looking for meaningful opportunities in the arts while maintaining a flexible academic schedule.
As part of our CTSS Performing Arts POD Program, students participate in fully staged musical productions that rehearse one weekday afternoon per week from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. These productions provide students with hands-on training in acting, singing, movement, stage presence, and collaborative storytelling while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
Beyond performance training, students develop valuable life skills including teamwork, leadership, public speaking, time management, and self-confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our programs are designed to complement a student's academic experience while providing a structured and engaging artistic outlet.
All programming is conducted in person at our Paoli studio, where students rehearse, learn, create, and perform alongside peers who share a passion for the performing arts.

Following the read-through on October 1, a master rehearsal schedule will be shared outlining anticipated rehearsal calls. Please note that rehearsal schedules are subject to change as the production progresses, particularly as we approach tech week and performances.
Performers are allowed to miss up to 2 rehearsal days or 8 hours of rehearsal time.

In the event we get enough interest for 3 full casts, there will be a 2nd weekend of shows added on Friday, January 22nd at 7 pm and Saturday, January 23rd at 2 pm and 7 pm. Each cast will receive 3 performances.
Little Shop of Horrors Prescreen Requirement
Little Shop of Horrors is designed as a pre-professional training and performance experience in a small-cast setting. The original Off-Broadway production featured a cast of just nine performers, and our production will also cast approximately nine performers per cast. Our goal is to build two to three casts for this production.
Because of the limited cast size and performance demands of the show, all students are required to submit a prescreen after registering. The prescreen requirements will be posted here in early August and communicated via email with registered performers. The purpose of the prescreen is to ensure that performers are comfortable and capable of carrying a role through song and storytelling in this intimate rehearsal environment.
We are not looking for perfection, but rather an eagerness to learn, grow, and collaborate. We simply want to see each student's best and most authentic work so we can determine whether this program is the right fit for their current skill level and experience.
Performers are not competing against one another for spots. Once enrollment reaches 27 performers, registration will close and a waitlist will be established. We are not selecting the "best" 27 submissions. Instead, we are looking for performers who can confidently tell a story through singing and thrive in a small-cast, pre-professional rehearsal environment.
Our goal is to create casts of approximately 8-9 performers each, with every student receiving meaningful performance opportunities and individualized artistic attention.
The tuition for the program is $595. If we determine that a student is not a good fit for the production, any deposit and tuition payments made will be refunded in full.
CTSS Afternoon Production Labs
Fully staged musicals for Homeschool and Cyber School Students that are part of our CTSS Performing Arts POD Program. All programming takes place in-person out of our Paoli studio.
CTSS Production Lab gives students the opportunity to rehearse and perform a fully staged musical in CTSS’s intimate black box theatre. This process-based performance class is designed for students who want the experience of being part of a full production while receiving meaningful training along the way.
With each production capped at just 16 performers, students receive individualized attention, ample stage time, and the chance to grow as both performers and ensemble members. Throughout the semester, students will develop acting, singing, movement, collaboration, and rehearsal skills while working toward a final staged performance.
