CTSS Conservatory

CTSS offers a robust Performing Arts Supplement Program for cyber school and homeschool students.

CTSS Conservatory offers focused performing arts training for students who want to grow as singers, actors, movers, and storytellers. Designed for homeschool, cyber, and flexible-learning families, this afternoon block gives students consistent training in a supportive, creative studio environment.

Students will build skills in voice, acting, movement, audition technique, music literacy, and performance practice while working with experienced teaching artists. The goal is to help students become confident, well-rounded performers who understand both the technique and artistry behind musical theatre. Led by two professional teaching artists with backgrounds in music, dance, and theater. This class culminates in a final performance where every student performs a solo monologue, solo song, as well as group ensemble dance numbers.

Program Details

  • Meetings: Mondays (Ages 13-18) or Tuesdays (Ages 10-15) 12-3 PM for 16 weeks (48 hours)

Song and Stage Collective

Ages 6-12 | Saturdays 10 Am - 12 PM

September 26th - November 14th (8 Classes)

Description:

Song & Stage Collective is a fun and supportive musical theatre intensive designed for young performers ages 8–12 who are new to theatre or enjoy performing as a hobby. Through singing, movement, and ensemble storytelling, students will build confidence, develop stage presence, and form lasting friendships while working together on four to five exciting group musical numbers. This low-pressure program is perfect for artists looking to overcome stage fright, as all performances are ensemble-based with no solos or individual casting responsibilities. The experience culminates in a fully produced 30-minute showcase featuring lights, singing, and choreography, giving every student the opportunity to experience the magic of musical theatre in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

MAIN LINE MT WORKSHOP

Ages 12-18 | Saturdays 12 - 2 PM

September 19th - November 21st (10 Classes)

Description:

The Main Line Musical Theatre Workshop is an 10-week intensive that digs deep into both acting and singing, giving young performers a true, conservatory-style musical theatre training experience. Led by theatre industry professionals, students work on songs, monologues, and audition technique in a supportive, high-energy environment. The session culminates in a free showcase performance for family and friends where every student performs a 1-2 minutes of a song and/or a monologue.

Teen Audition Workshop

Ages 12-18 | Mondays 7 - 9 PM

October 5th - November 23rd (8 Classes)

Description:

Our Teen Audition Workshop is designed to give young performers the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate the audition process with purpose and professionalism. Students will learn audition etiquette, discover material that complements their unique voice, type, and acting style, and gain insight into finding their niche within the theatre community. Through guided discussions and individualized coaching, participants will explore how to choose roles that align with their strengths while also having honest conversations about when an opportunity is truly the right fit. This workshop will challenge students to step outside their comfort zones, teaching them how to embrace uncertainty, manage nerves, and transform discomfort into a powerful performance asset rather than an obstacle. By the end of the program, performers will leave with a deeper understanding of themselves as artists and a practical roadmap for approaching auditions with confidence, authenticity, and self-awareness.

Tap Class Tuesday

Ages 12-18 | Tuesdays 8 - 9 PM

September 22nd - November 10th (8 Classes)

Description:

Designed for dedicated tap dancers with an intermediate to advanced level of experience, this Tuesday class focuses on refining technique, increasing speed and clarity, and developing a deeper understanding of complex rhythmic structures. Dancers will build upon their foundational tap vocabulary through challenging combinations and variations that expand musicality, coordination, and performance quality. While the primary emphasis is on rhythm tap, students will also explore the stylistic nuances of Broadway tap, learning how the two forms differ in execution, presentation, and artistic intent. This class does not culminate in a live performance; instead, choreography and combinations learned throughout the season will be filmed, providing students with high-quality footage to enhance future video auditions, college submissions, and dance reels.
