Nick Harmantzis

Nick Harmantzis is a music educator, voice teacher, choir director, and performing arts administrator based in the Philadelphia area. He currently serves as Vocal Music Teacher at the PALCS Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Nick is also the owner and director of Community Through Song & Stage, a performing arts and vocal training school in Paoli, Pennsylvania. He is passionate about helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, musical literacy, and authentic artistic expression. Under his leadership, Community Through Song & Stage has become a thriving hub for voice training, theatre education, and youth performance opportunities. A classically trained tenor, Nick has performed operatic roles including Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi and Apollo in L'Orfeo. He holds degrees from the University of the Arts, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and Ithaca College. Nick is an OperaWorks alumnus and recipient of the 2023 PMEA Citation of Excellence Award. His choirs have been recognized through performances at major educational and professional music events throughout Pennsylvania. He is an active member of PMEA, ACDA, and the board of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of NATS.
